Spark of Life Conference Adelaide Australia

Matthew McAuliffe • May 2, 2017
The Australian Resuscitation Council is a voluntary co-ordinating body which represents all major groups involved in the teaching and practice of resuscitation. The Australian Resuscitation Council is sponsored by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.

The Australian Resuscitation Council 11th International Spark Of Life Conference 2017 was held in Adelaide Australia between 3rd and 5th May 2017. Attended by over 400 delegates from around the region, Lifecast Body Simulation exhibited at the Conference, with pride of place going to the new-born baby "body".

We witnessed some very strong reactions to the Lifecast new-born - with many delegates wanting to explore how the increased level of realism would affect the way resuscitation is taught. With realistic features and accurate weight, all delegates wanted to hold it just like a new-born baby, the Conference was a great success for Lifecast.
